Solar innovation...American-made

BlueDot Photonics was recently named a semifinalist in Round 2 of the American-Made Solar Prize

BlueDot Photonics was named a semifinalist in Round 2 of the American-Made Solar Prize competition as announced at Solar Power International in September. The American-Made Solar Prize is a $3 million prize competition designed to revitalize U.S. solar manufacturing through a series of contests and the development of a diverse and powerful support network that leverages national laboratories, energy incubators, and other resources across the country. The competition accelerates and sustains solar innovation by supporting entrepreneurs as they develop transformative technology ideas into concepts and then into early-stage prototypes ready for industry testing.

Here are BlueDot, we couldn't be more excited and proud to be recognized by this amazing competition. We managed to differentiate ourselves from over 120 applicants. We are excited to accelerate our prototype development to compete for the Set! prize of $100k in cash and $75k in lab vouchers in March and Go! Grand Prize of $500k in July of 2020.

We look forward to seeing you at the Set! demo day in Pittsburgh as part of Carnegie Mellon's Energy Week!
